The same questions will try the inbox until they have a page of their own. Here they are.
What is this?
A blog. Dating, apps, sex, the odd aftermath. Written like a person who has been in the room, not like a wellness brand with a candle budget.
Is this advice?
It is opinion with a point of view. If a post tells you to try something, that is a suggestion from the page, not a prescription. Your night, your call, your consequences.
Are you a therapist, doctor, or solicitor?
No. If you need one of those, use one of those. I write. That is the job.
Who is it for?
Women, mostly. The posts assume that vantage point on purpose. Men can read them. I am not running a helpdesk for male confusion, and I am not translating the work into a pep talk for the man who just went quiet.
Can I send you my situation?
You can. I probably will not untangle it. The Contact page exists for questions about the Site, press, and corrections. It is not a second brain for a man who texts like a novelist and shows up like a stranger.
Do you reply?
Sometimes. Short messages with a point get further than essays. If I do not reply, it is volume, not a riddle.
Is this about you?
Some of it is lived. Some of it is pattern recognition. I am not serialising my diary, and I am not naming anyone who did not ask to be in the sentence.
Is the Site for adults?
Yes. Eighteen and over. The writing talks about sex in plain language. If that is not for you, leave.
Can men write in with rebuttals?
They do. It is rarely as original as they think. If a post was wrong on a fact, say the fact. If you just disliked the temperature, that is allowed, and it does not require a reply.
Can I share a post?
Link to it. Do not copy the thing wholesale onto your page, your newsletter, or a carousel with my sentences sanded down. If you want to quote a line, quote it and point back here.
Do you take guests, ads, or “collabs”?
Sometimes, if it is real work and not a bottle of lube with an affiliate code glued to the side. Use the contact form and say what you actually want.
Do you have comments?
Not at the moment. The form is enough.
Where are you?
Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. That is the geography. It is not an invitation to turn up.
How do I contact you?
The Contact page. Form first. Email if the form sulks: cat@caitlinkidd.com
What happens to what I send?
It goes to that inbox so I can reply. I do not need your dating history to run a blog. The long version is the Privacy Policy.
